There's a README in the contrib/xslfo directory, and also there's a
demo subdir.  There's a script in the demo dir that semi-automates the
process.

You need an XSLT processor, which basically takes the XML file
(generated by RDoc) and the stylesheets I written, and spits out an
XSL-FO document.  This document is a thick description of a visual
presentation of the information, including internal and external
hyperlinks.

Then, to do anything with this, you need another software layer.  I've
been using PassiveTeX, which takes XSL-FO as input and produces a DVI
file as output.  I've also been running it through pdflatex, which
produces a PDF file (with working links).  But you can use anything
that reads XSL-FO and outputs something else.

If all of this is too cryptic or uphill, let me know and I'll see if I
can flesh it out.
