Good point. How about E=Expanding or E=Extensive. 

And there is always the obvious fall-back: 

    CRAN -- Comprehensive Ruby Archive Network

OTOH:

    RA -- Ruby Archive 

is elegantly minimal and sufficient and similar to RAA, although I
presently like this best:

    ART -- Archive of Ruby Things
    ART -- Archive of Ruby Tools
    ART -- Archive of Ruby Techniques
    ART -- Archive of Ruby Treasures
    ART -- Archive of Ruby Technology

since Ruby is the dynamic OOP state-of-the-art.
