I have no problems compiling ruby/curses on my G4. I seem to remember that
this has been reported before and it turned out that I was a conflict with
Fink, specifically having Fink's sw directory in your PATH. Try commenting
out anything in your .tcshrc file that adds sw to your path.


BTW, ruby/cures will build but not run unless you configure your Ruby build
with enable-shared.
