I have used ruby/gtk to put together a couple of not-too-complicated
(but non-trivial) GUIs and I have never seen a crash.  It responds
plenty fast enough too.  Can't say anything about how it would scale
to a really complicated app, but it has been essentially problem-free
for my needs.
