Sorry, I replied to these privately; I should have CC'd the group.

Anyway, for those who are interested, for some reason it was linking to the 
static libraries, and for some other reason, it didn't like that.  Lyle had 
me move the statics FOX library out of the way and relink, and everything 
runs now.
