Subject: mod_ruby not executing scripts

I'm just trying out mod_ruby for the first time.  It compiled and 
installed without a hitch on a fairly fresh install of RedHat 7.2 with 
Apache 1.3.19 (straight from the rpms off the CD, apache and 
apache-devel).  I added the LoadModule line to httpd.conf and the 
<IfModule> block to set up the handler for *.rbx files, but when I 
actually request a .rbx file (i.e. click on an .rbx file on the server 
from Netscape 6.2), Apache just tries to serve it as a file 
(application/octet-stream).

Here's the pertintent section of my httpd.conf file:

   RubyRequire apache/ruby-run

# Execute *.rbx files as Ruby scripts
   <Files *.rbx>
     SetHandler ruby-object
     RubyHandler Apache::RubyRun.instance
   </Files>
</IfModule>


Does anyone have any idea why my .rbx files won't execute?
