This (similar) code causes a differently worded [BUG] errors:

def bug
    <<-HTML
        #{ html='';
           (1...10).each { |i|
	       html += i.to_s
           }
           html }
    HTML
end

puts "here comes an ugly bug...\n"
$stdout.flush
puts bug == bug

As far as I can tell, this error depends on the ==, the method call,
the <<-HTML, and the loop inside of #{}.  I have only tested it on
ruby 1.6.4 (2001-06-04) [i386-cygwin].
