Subject: puts: program silently blocks

Hi!

My other issue, that come up yesterday:
If you have a puts, and it's argument contains undefined local variable,
the program can lock.
The code is inside an object-method.
I cannot reproduce it, it was in a big program using Tk.
But I put a puts "Checkpoint" before and after that puts.

ps: Sorry, but now I have to finish that prog, and cannot debug it. The
best I can do is to make a snapshot about this buggy program.
