Subject: TryRuby Popup Problems

Hello there, my name is Jay. I wanted to introduce myself because I
figure I will be spending a lot of time here in the future as I just
decided to start learning Ruby with Michael Hartl's online Rails
Tutorial. He suggested to go through the TryRuby course on CodeSchool.
The only parts I did not understand of the course were the exercises
involving the 'popup' library because I do not receive popups. I went
through the course on Safari. Is there any way to fix this problem so
that I could view what is actually going on with the comics and the blog
in the course to see the web development power of Ruby? It seems that I
am missing an integral part of what the course is trying to show in
Ruby's capabilities and I would like to witness it. Thanks so much for
your advice in advance.
