I got it to work now! This was my fault.

I did not post the the sample array correctly. It should be like this:

array = {:id=>1, :price =>0.25}, # index[0]
        :id=>2, :price =>0.35}, # index[1]
        :id=>3, :price =>0.45}, # index[2]
        :id=>4, :price =>0.55} # index[3]
