How do I set Ruby up so that this works?

C:\C2-data\gen\projects\Ruby\various\snippets>ruby inlinetests.rb
inlinetests.rb:5:in `test': unknown command ?� (ArgumentError)
         from inlinetests.rb:5

C:\C2-data\gen\projects\Ruby\various\snippets>ruby -rtest inlinetests.rb
0: No such file to load -- test (LoadError)

C:\C2-data\gen\projects\Ruby\various\snippets>ruby --version
ruby 1.6.5 (2001-09-19) [i386-cygwin]

... or did I get you wrong, and it can't work yet.

I think it is one step further, so it will take some getting used.

But it looks like a a step in the right direction; people could try it 
out and then base their judgement on experience.

What are the opinions and arguments of those who already worked with 
this kind of closely embedded tests?
