Subject: ANN: RubyRED 1.0 alpha

This idea sprang from a discussion of blogging software
a few weeks back (though it's not blog-related).

It's a simple tool for editing remote files that depends on
ftp and your own editor of choice.

Right now it has a clunky text interface and the beginnings
of a Tk interface.

You're welcome to provide:
1. Comments/suggestions
2. Fixes/enhancements/refactorings
3. Test cases
4. Alternate user interfaces

As a matter of fact, I think it might be nice to make a 
little app like this the "poster child" of GUI toolkits...
to see the code and the look-and-feel of each one.
