The joys of the Weather Channel ;-)

I'm English, but live in Dallas, Texas. We've entered the summer late
this year, but we'll now have a couple of months where the temperature
is over 100 Fahrenheit during the day (last year we had 30 days where
it never dropped below 100, day or night). We don't get typhoons, but
we do see some good tornadoes (nearby Fort Worth was hit by one a month
or so ago), and the thunderstorms can be magnificent.

Regards

Dave
