I agree. I've been mostly a Ruby developer since 2005 with 50/50 split = rails and 'other stuff'. Very few of the jobs I've had have spe= cified or even cared what language I used.

Also look for work in fields that interest you (scientific, gaming, =A0grap= hics, banking etc.) and then see if they are open to using ruby.
