This is a funny thread.

If there is a grand theme behind contemporary art, it's that
*anything* can be an art -- if the observer finds it interesting.

Apply the commutative property: does this thread really ask "Is
software engineering interesting?"  To that I'm sure everyone reading
this list would say "yes" :D

I guess then, it's art.
