I am a student in engineering school and i contribute to the Mozilla and the Diaspora project. I subscribed on this list to talk to you about Diaspora, a social network free, decentralized and aware of privacy. Since August, it is the community who drive the project. A lot of work is done, but there is not enough contributor. This is the purpose of my message. Diaspora is developed using Ruby, Ruby on Rails, and Backbone.js. I would like to know if some of you would be interested to be involved. If you are a teacher, this could be a very good subject for your students. Fix a bug is a really great experience : they will learn how a FOSS project work, how to use git and github, how write and run tests... Or you could want to add some social interactions in your company and integrate a Diaspora server can be a good idea. You got it, we are looking for contributors for this exciting project. If you want to have details, don't hesitate to answer to this email, or look at the code at github . Have a good day !

Flaburgan / Antoine D.
