We have people using JRuby on Z-series, but under z/Linux, not under z/OS. However, I poked around for a few minutes and found this: http://www-03.ibm.com/systems/z/os/zos/tools/java/products/sdk7_64.html That's Java 7, 64-bit (31-bit available too) for z/OS. I would expect there's versions going back a ways too. So then...JRuby's an answer. - Charlie On Tue, Nov 13, 2012 at 4:30 PM, Tony Arcieri wrote: > JRuby? http://jruby.org > > > On Tue, Nov 13, 2012 at 1:55 PM, Ruby Student > wrote: >> >> Team, >> >> Has anyone compiled Ruby under IBM Mainframe OS Z/VM? >> Or can Ruby be compiled to run under IBM Mainframe OS Z/VM? >> >> Thank you >> >> -- >> Ruby Student > > > > > -- > Tony Arcieri >
