Subject: Erb syntax - unknown syntax

Hi, I am a very beginner on Ruby and related stuff, Could you please
tell me
what a tag like this "<%!" means in the following code. Also, I would
really appreciate if you can give me some ref to erb templates.

<%! if filmstrip_image_path.blank? %>


Also what does this '?' do in the above code
