My excel file has 2 columns and 5 rows, i.e, i have data in 10 cells. I have written the following code. I am getting all the values from the cell and then assign it to my 'temp' array. But when i see the array length it comes out to be '2'. Also when i print this temp array -------------------------- require 'rubygems' require 'parseexcel' #open the excel file workbook = Spreadsheet::ParseExcel.parse(ARGV[0]) #Get the first worksheet worksheet = workbook.worksheet(0) #cycle over every row temp = [] worksheet.each do |row| row.each do |cell| temp = cell.to_s('latin1') end end puts "temp array length", temp.length -------------------------- Help much appreciated.. -- Posted via http://www.ruby-forum.com/.
