Does this help?

arr = [[49, 47], [48, 46], [47, 45], [46, 44], [45, 43], [44, 42]]
p Hash[*arr.flatten]

#> {49=>47, 48=>46, 47=>45, 46=>44, 45=>43, 44=>42}
