That covers a lot of ground, but I think many people will
not fully appreciate the all-encompassing subtlty of that Principle.

On a side note, another axis of language comparisons might
be something like "volatility", in the sense of "how bad do things
get when I make a typo".

On that axis, LaTex and C++ are very volatile (perhaps even chaotic? :-)
languages.  One wrong move and all hell breaks loose.   Ruby,
on the other hand, does not generally suffer widespread failure
due to a single typo.
