Subject: Are %q and %Q universal?

Hi all,

I'm working on the next release of RubyStudio and doing the syntax coloring
for string literals. It dawned on me that the %q notation probably only
works for the Roman alphabet. I'd appreciate the unicode values for other
alphabets that correspond.
