Posted a bug report on sourceforge, don't know how yall normally do 
things around here.  I'm new.  The bug was in relation to this install 
(Ruby166-0.exe).

It caused my w2k sp2 system to die.  Upon reboot explorer died after 
login making the system unusable, although a few things still loaded.

This system is pretty clean, the install is only a few months old and 
this is the first time i've had so much as a blip.  Tested to make sure 
Ruby is what was causing it.  Tried a few times to do JUST the install 
on a clean boot (after having removed ruby in safe mode and having the 
system start working properly again).  Got the same results each time.

Went to ruby 1.6.7 the zip file on sourceforge and unzipped into a c:
\ruby folder and all went well.

Any ideas?
