This auth_hash["user_info"]["name"] should be changed to this: 
auth_hash["info"]["name"] . It gives you nill because facebook changed 
user_info to info. Plus when I take request.env['omniauth.auth'] I do it 
like that:     auth = YAML::load(request.env['omniauth.auth'].to_yaml) 
because YAML::load will return a hash while I am not sure the way you 
have written it will return a hash.
