Sorry. That was not so good script. 
The following is the better and more (most?) simple way. 
---------------------------------------------------
require 'tk'
def Tk.load_tcl_script(file)
  tk_call('source', file)
end
---------------------------------------------------
Is it enough to solve your problem?
