Subject: How to build platform specific gems?

Dear All,

I tried to build a gem for my 64 bit linux machine and tried the
specification like this,

spec.platform = Gem::Platform::X86_64-linux

but it generates below error,

 ERROR:  While executing gem ... (NameError)
   uninitialized constant Gem::Platform::X86_64-linux

I also tried with default like

  spec.platform = Gem::Platform::Ruby

the above also generates same error like,

  ERROR:  While executing gem ... (NameError)
   uninitialized constant Gem::Platform::Ruby

Did any one have an idea on this issue, my wish is i need to build a gem
for 64 bit linux and i need to know how to specify it in gemspec file.
