[ruby-talk:03886] Nightly snapshot

Hi,

I recently discovered and just tried out the nightly snapshot listed
under "What's New". -- Thanks!

As usual, after uzipping and untarring, I tried ./configure, which
wasn't found. I did however find a curious file called .cvsignore, with
the following contents:

# cat .cvsignore
parse.c
newver.rb
ruby
miniruby
README.fat-patch
configure
config.cache
config.h
config.log
config.status
Makefile
ppack
archive
extmk.rb
*.orig
*.rej
*.bak
*.sav
*~

I wonder if the configure entry was the cause?

I also discovered that under "Downloads"/"downloadable items", the
nightly snapshot link goes to ruby-1.4.5.tar.gz.
