Hello,

I am neither happy with caller() nor with set_trace_func(). caller() does 
not give access to the binding environment and so far I get a six fold 
slowdown (maybe more) if I collect stack frames by catching "call" & 
"return" in a set_trace_func Proc...

Is there a better way (preferably pure Ruby with the stable 1.6) ?

I basically want to dump the complete stack frame, including self, current 
method, parameters & local variables preferably (actually I browse it in 
HTML). I had a look at IRB::Frame. It is nice, but too slow for me.
