I've tried installing the algebra package in Windows, the instructions just say to put the files in /lib/*.rb in a directory where they can be loaded by Ruby, so I put them in /lib/ruby/site_ruby/1.6/algebra but when I typed require 'algebra' in my script, it couldn't find the file to load. So I put all the /lib/*.rb files in directly in the <...>site_ruby/1.6 directory, which I don't really like, but it seemed to work *sort of*, in the sense that it takes about 4 minutes to run the sample script sample-diagonalization01.rb from /samples, and produces the following warning in it's output: (eval):1: warning: already initialized constant AUTO_LOAD Am I doing something wrong? I'm not used to simple scripts taking minutes to execute. (I'm running Windows 2000 on a pentium II 266 with 128Mb RAM, FYI) Thanks, Matt
