This reminds me...

I saw an interesting discussion in another context
(RubyGUI) where someone was inconvenienced 
by the fact that a list of items (was it methods?) 
was not returned in the order in which they were 
defined... 

In his words, "Ruby introspection does not preserve
order..."

Someone else said that Symbols were apparently
stored in hashes, or something to that effect.

Any chance this might be fixed or changed in the
future?
