Without any more information, I have the feeling that you have constructed a
new FXIcon after the program's running but failed to call create() on that
new icon. Find the line where you construct the icon, e.g.

    myIcon = FXGIFIcon.new(app, ...)

and add a line immediately after that:

    myIcon.create

to see if it fixes the problem. For more details, see this question in the
