Subject: Ruby Servlet Libraries?

What are people's experiences with Servlets vs CGI in Ruby? What 
servlet engines do you recommend?

I used CGI heavily in Perl (mod-perl) but switched to servlets for 
Java work. In ruby I began with roach but switched to webrick before 
hitting the wall this evening trying to get sessions to persist from 
page to page. Webrick's session handling is so small I'm not sure its 
there at all. The documentation is even smaller. ;)

I can probably get past it tomorrow, but it would sure be nice is 
someone knew of a well-documented servlet engine for ruby that 
supports sessions. Something comparable to Tomcat or Jetty (minus 
anything resembling JSP) would be nice.
