Subject: Ruby on RedHat 6.0

Does anyone run Ruby on RedHat 6.0?  I have a machine we've leased running
RedHat 6.0 (a Verio dedicated server), and I'd like to put Ruby on it.
Thing is, Ruby seems to want package upgrades, and since I don't have
physical access to the machine (it's across the country), I'm wary of just
replacing packages as I go along resolving dependencies for fear that I
might break the machine and not be able to get back in the same working
order without rebuilding the whole machine from scratch.

Has anyone put Ruby on RedHat 6.0 who can give me some tips on doing this?
