As for the "CreateObject" problem, it sounds like you may need to register another control. Look for any other dlls in the PocketRuby distribution and try to register them like pvbdecl.dll. If I recall, PocketRuby uses the Pocket Outlook stuff - look for something like pimstore*.dll Let me know if that works or not, Li-Te
