No, the Developer Tools will not be updated via the Software Update
preference panel. If you do need an update, you will have to get it from
<http://www.apple.com/developer/>.

I have posted elsewhere that the problem for me was the lack of the C
header file 'dlfcn.h' in /usr/include. If that's your problem too, just e
-mail me, and I'll send it to you.
