Subject: compiling ruby-1.6.6



While trying to compile Ruby-1.6.6. using gcc-2.95, I get this message:
dir.c: In function `dir_initialize':
dir.c:263: `EMFILE' undeclared (first use in this function)
dir.c:263: (each undeclared identifier is reported only once
dir.c:263: for each function it appears in.)
dir.c:263: `ENFILE' undeclared (first use in this function)

dir.c:429: `ERANGE' undeclared (first use in this function)
make: *** [dir.o] Error 1

I used the ./configure script before I tried 'make'.
Does someone have an idea of what I could try to make this work?
