During installation it ask you "Add Ruby executables to the PATH" as a checkbox, and you didn't check it. Because of that, you can only start Ruby from the above mentioned shortcut or by adding Ruby's bin directory to the PATH: SET PATH=C:\Ruby192\bin;%PATH% -- Luis Lavena
