Subject: Is Carbon ruby dead?

The only info I've found is

which is asking for someone to take over the carbon project;
apparently
it had no takers.

The only reason I'm interested in Carbonized ruby is that I was hoping
to embed ruby in a Carbon application (the application must remain
Carbon).
