I agree with you.  As far as I am concerned, asking questions on a list like
this IS doing your homework.  

If he asked someone on here two write a program for a Ruby programming
course that would be different.  How else is he supposed to get this
information?

How Rude and impolite this Mason can be!
Asking questions is part of the homework, to my views.
Perhaps I am defending myself since I am new to Ruby. Replies like the one
provided by Ralph Mason discourage newcomers from asking questions and
sharing
with the community.
