Subject: Ruby Syntax highlighting for JED?

I'm going to be teaching an 'OO Programming with Ruby' class for beginners 
(mostly non-programmers).  The people who run the facility where I am 
going to teach have selected JED as the editor because they think its 
easier for newbies to pick up than VI.  I've never used JED, does it 
have color syntax highlighting available for Ruby code (they've told me 
that it does it for Perl and they'd like to have it for Ruby as well).
