Via a user-supplied key, or is it to be self decrypting? In any case, you can probably use the EAY library services to encrypt it with a triple-DES key or an RSA private key. You can get it by downloading and building the source for the OpenSSL package from www.openssl.org. OpenSSL uses the services of the EAY library, so when you build it, it builds the EAY library as a DLL (windows) or a shared library (UN*X). If its not for commercial use, you can also get a personal copy of the PGP package, or if it is, you can buy one fairly inexpensively. It has a bunch of encryption utilities, one of which should do the job. Try using www.google.com to search for "PGP" and "Pretty Good Privacy" and you should come up with something. Good luck. Dennis
