I would tend to agree.  At the height of my mod_perl or mod_(java
module flavor of the month) usage, I didn't like opening that up for
users because having 100MB httpd processes was pretty unacceptable.
mod_ruby actually seems to behave itself the best of all of the
mod_*'s... props to Shugo, Matz and the rest of the Ruby developers.
I can't wait until the str_cat optimizations are made available, I'm
sure that'll produce a nice little speed up for mod_ruby. ;~) -sc
