I think there will be times every now and then (cryptography might be one
example, dunno). In any event, I don't think it hurts to have old %
functionality (modulo) somewhere easily accessible. It could be mapped to
other name or whatever, but on this case I think it's good to have both
functionalities at hand when needed.
