Subject: ftp & getaddrinfo

Hi, I've trying a simple ftp test as follows:



require 'net/ftp'


ftp = Net::FTP.new('members.optushome.com.au', 'martin', '********')
begin
	ftp.login
rescue => bang
	puts 'exception :' + bang
end

files = ftp.chdir('tasmania')
files = ftp.list('*')

ftp.close

This outout of this is:

exception :getaddrinfo: Name or service not known
mandy_640x480.jpg
craterlake_640x480.jpg
waratah_640x480.jpg
ontop_640x480.jpg
walk_640x480.jpg
grasswalk_640x480.jpg

=====================

So the login succeeds and the ftp connection can be used as long as the
exception is caught. Why is this exception raised?
