Does anyone have > details? What's broke? Any plans to fix it? Since I am temporarily unemployed (until April 22) I hope to be able to spend some time looking into this over the next week or so. I can see at least one of the symptoms of the problem in FXRuby (where a call to rb_thread_wait_for() never returns) but haven't even started to look into the Ruby source code to decide "what's broke". The few times I've looked through the threading code (in eval.c) it was somewhat daunting, and so I don't know if I'll come up with anything or not. But it affects me and so I have a personal interest in getting it fixed ;) By the way, if anyone else reading this can suggest some smaller test cases (maybe from the Rubicon?) that also exhibit bad behavior (thread-wise) let me know...
