one more question, i had submitted the mail on ruby-core the old 
fashioned way - via emailing on ruby-core@ruby-lang.org. But i am able 
to search on ruby-forum but not on namazu.

does it take some time for namazu.rb to index the mails?

A bug/feature for ruby-core is that, while submitting on Ruby-Core is 
does not check if the user (email) is a member of 
ruby-core@ruby-lang.org, as otherwise the mailing list throws an error.
