Subject: ActiveScriptRuby gurus?

Hello all,

I've seen ASR mentioned here a few times...
I'm not extremely familiar with it myself, as I
am a Windows user but a UNIX programmer.
(Schizophrenia, I know...)

However, I am an enthusiastic user of a piece
of commercial software called HomeSeer
(www.homeseer.com, I think). It's a cool "home
automation" utility. Disclaimer: I'm unaffiliated 
with them except as a customer.

It's possible to write scripts for HomeSeer in
VBscript or Perl... and with ASR, it's *theoretically*
possible with Ruby.

However, I couldn't get it to work for me.

The ASR author looked at it, but HomeSeer would
not install properly on his (Japanese) version of 
Windows.

Anyone interested in this at all?

No (I'm sorry to say), there's not a Linux version.  :) :)
