Vim can make a lot of editing much easier if you grab the basic
concepts. $ always means end and y means copy and d means delete.
d$ deletes till end of line, y$ copies til end of line, 5d deletes the
next five lines 5y copies the next five lines. Most of the commands are
build of small primitives that make editing easier, "cw" deletes the
word under the cursor and then jumps to edit mode. after inserting the
new word you can use "." to repeat that with other instances. Sometimes
thats easier than search&replace.
