Since its not April 1st I cannot say it will be proprietary and closed
source ;-). It will likely be dual licensed with Ruby's license and LGPL
(for those folks who want to use the code commercially but don't like
Ruby's license for some reason).  If the community wants another
variation to replace LGPL (more BSD like, etc) let us know.
