If you search the ruby-talk archives, you'll find previous discussion about
Mr. Eckel's comments.  By and large, folks here refrained from flaming
Eckel and/or Python, and there were interesting comments explaining why
people prefer Ruby over [Python|Perl|Java|COBOL].
